How to book your cabin
What to do, in order, when a couple invites you to their cruise wedding — and what not to do first.
The Cruise Bride coordinates the sailing, the cabins and the guest travel. The cruise line runs its own wedding program where one is offered.
Tell us about your celebration
A cruise wedding specialist replies personally, usually within one business day.
Do not book anything until you have the group details. Cruise weddings run on a held block of cabins, and booking outside it usually means a worse rate, a cabin at the wrong end of the ship, and a seat at a different dinner table.
Contact us with the couple's name and sailing date. We will tell you what is held, what it costs per person including taxes and fees, and what the deposit is. Deposits are small compared to the total, and most sailings allow the balance to be paid a few months before departure.
Two people per cabin is the standard rate. Travelling alone usually costs more than half a double, which surprises people, so if you have a friend on the guest list it is worth asking whether they want to share.

Answers before you commit to anything
You can, but you will usually pay more and you will not be inside the group block, which affects cabin location, dining and any group amenities the couple has arranged.
Typically between 75 and 120 days before sailing depending on the line and length of cruise. We will tell you the exact date when you book.
Deposits are usually refundable up to the final payment date, then penalties begin. Travel insurance purchased at booking is the only sensible protection.
