The fare is the smaller half of the story. On top of it sit taxes and port fees, daily crew gratuities charged per person, drinks unless a package is included, specialty dining, excursions, and whatever you spend ashore.

Gratuities are the item guests are most often surprised by, because they are charged daily to your onboard account rather than included in the fare. Budget for them from the beginning rather than discovering them on the final statement.

A realistic guest budget for a week in the Caribbean is the fare plus roughly the same again if you drink, take excursions and eat in the specialty restaurants. Less if you do not. We will give you a specific number for your sailing when you book.
